Open Art Lab

Location

Witherle Memorial Library's Children's Room, School St., Castine.

This youth art program will offer instruction in drawing, realistic painting and abstract art for ages up to 18. All materials will be provided, including oil paints and canvas. Please wear painting clothes. No sign-up necessary, and there is no cost to participants. Weather permitting, students will be invited to paint outside on the Town Common. So come and enjoy expressing yourself in art, and feel a part of the Castine Plein Air Festival spirit.

On Saturday July 26th (from 11AM to 2PM), there will be an art show of work created during the week.

This program is supported by a generous grant from the Castine Arts Association.
