Witherle Memorial Library Reading Room - School St. Castine
Join Marie-Laure Reed and practice conversational French in a relaxed setting. Marie-Laure Reed is a traveler by nature and by nurture. She was born into a French military family and learned early on to adapt to different localities. She continued her globetrotting as an adult living in England, Oklahoma, Australia and Texas and traveling through Africa and other countries around the world. As she traveled, she used her English language training and business acumen to build a varied professional resume that includes import business, French diplomacy, journalism, interior design and arts council management. Now retired, she lives in Castine with her American husband, Craig.
All levels welcome. Bring a brown-bag lunch if you wish. Coffee and tea will be served.
