Zentangle is a meditative, structured art form designed to foster focus and relaxation through drawing repetitive, intricate patterns. Sort of like doodling, but with specific methods - using ink pens and pencil shading on square paper 'tiles' to create non-representational 'art'. It looks complicated, but step-by-step, it is easier than it looks, and fun. All materials will be supplied. This program is co-sponsored by the Witherle Memorial Library and Castine Arts Association.
