Half Hull Model Workshop - Castine Class Sloop

This hands on workshop is taught by David Wyman, and Don Small and features instruction on proper chisel sharpening, and the construction and carving of a handsome half hull model. The Castine Class sloop is one of Castine's most recognized wooden boats on the waterfront. Twenty of these fine sloops were built here in Castine during the 50s and 60s at Eaton's Boatyard under the skilled craftsmanship of Mace Eaton and his son Alonzo. 

Cost of the workshop series is $75pp. There are tools required that are part of the course.
