The Castine Arts Association, Witherle Memorial Library and the Maine Community Foundation have launched Signatures, an online gallery that will showcase the works of Castine area artists and craftspeople in quarterly virtual exhibitions. Each Signatures exhibit will be more than an art show. In addition to the artist-curated digital gallery, each exhibit will include background information, a short video of the artist at work, and a recorded interview.  When each exhibit ends, it will be archived and will remain accessible through the library website.

Our inaugural exhibit features Kedron Barrett, a long-time summer Castine resident, who was interviewed by Castine resident Alicia Anstead, a former arts reporter with the Bangor Daily News and currently the associate director of programming at the Office for the Arts at Harvard University.
