Witherle Memorial Library's Signatures series profiles a Castine-area artist with an artist-curated digital gallery, interviews, and videos of the artist at work. Our Winter 2022 artist is Castine photographer Lisa Tyson Ennis.

In addition to her beautiful gallery, we encourage you to view the various videos describing Lisa's technique and how she sets up her photographs.  Lisa also shares her influences and experience of being an artist in a 20-minute video. To get a taste of all that's in store in this comprehensive exhibit, please take a look at the introduction before entering the gallery.

Viewers can access the exhibit from either Witherle Memorial Library's or Castine Arts Association's websites. Three to four artists will be profiled annually. When finished, the exhibits will be added to a digital local history archive which can be found on the library's Arts & Letters page of the website.

This project is in partnership with CAA and the Maine Community Foundation, and was developed by Rich Hewitt with help from Kathryn Dillon and Alicia Anstead
