Turkish and Greek Cuisine Workshop

Two Tuesdays, October 15 & 22, 5 to 8 pm


Wilson Museum Education Center, Perkins St. Castine

This two-session, six-hour workshop will include discussion about authentic ingredients and techniques used in cooking dishes of the Aegean region of the Mediterranean Sea. Participants will work together to prepare, cook, serve, eat and enjoy the delicious, nutritious and healthy dishes. Hale AKIN ASYALI born and raised in Izmir (Smyrna) on the coast of Aegean Sea will share her experiences about cooking methods, eating habits and culinary culture of people of the region.

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Castine Arts Association and the Friends of the Witherle Memorial Library and is free to participants. There is limited space so sign up as soon as possible.
